FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of a rubber compound based on butyl rubber and can be used in the tire and rubber industries. Said rubber compound contains BK-1675 butyl rubber, N326 furnace technical carbon, oxidized by reactive oxygen intermediates (ROI), containing protogenic functional groups in the amount of 0.6 to 1.6 mg-eq/m2, ground sulfur, tetramethylthiuram disulfide, 2-mercaptobenzthiazole, zinc white, Norman-538 oil, stearic acid.
EFFECT: increase in the nominal tensile strength and decrease in gas permeability of rubbers.
