FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology, orthopedics, neurosurgery and may be applicable for the prevention of fractures of adjacent vertebrae with transpedicular fixation against the background of osteoporosis. In the body of the vertebrae, adjacent to the damaged, inject bone cement in a volume of 7–8 ml in each vertebra. Install transpedicular screws into the body of the vertebrae and the rods into the screw heads, also perform fixation with a polymeric tape with a clamp and a fixing screw behind the arch of the vertebra to the left and to the right of the spinous process and the upper ends of the rods of the metal structure.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the mechanical strength of the bodies of the cranial vertebrae, to reduce the load on the bodies of the cranial vertebrae.
