FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and traumatology, and can be used in treating patients with uncomplicated compression fracture of vertebral body arising in axial compression of vertebra and flexion of spinal column. Under local anesthesia under X-ray control, a transpedicular Jamshidi needle is inserted into a vertebral body. Mandrin is removed from the needle. Jamshidi needle is fitted with a K-wire to break the trabeculae up to 3/4 of the length of the vertebral body. Pin is withdrawn, the needle is supplied with a syringe and evacuation of hemorrhagic exudate is performed; the needle is removed.

EFFECT: method provides effective pain syndrome reduction by reducing intraosseous pressure in vertebral body.
