FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for drying solutions to produce a granular product with increased hygroscopicity, and can be used in various areas of chemical technologies and related industries where higher requirements on the final moisture content of the product are imposed. Catalyst drying and calcining unit comprises a plunger pump for feeding the stock solution, an impurity separation filter, a spray dryer for drying and granulating the catalyst from the solution. Wet feed source supply system is in the form of a sprayer comprising a cylindrical body with a nozzle, rigidly connected to the body and coaxially disposed in the upper part of the body and having a cylindrical fluid inlet connected to a diffuser, an axisymmetric body and a fitting. In the lower part of the cylindrical hole, a hollow conical swirl is fixed, the conical shell of which is fixed by means of at least three spokes fixed at one end to the conical shell of the swirler conical shell in its upper part, and the other end – in the annular groove made on the inner surface of the cylindrical hole, on the outer surface of the hollow conical swirler a screw through thread is made, and a diffuser perpendicular to the axis of the housing and made in the form of a solid disk is connected to the housing, at its lower part, by means of at least three spokes, the disk of the atomizer being formed by two surfaces, one of which is facing the diffuser, a curved surface, the line forming this surface is a curve of the n-th order line, and the second is the plane, or the disk of the atomizer is formed by two congruent and equidistant n-th order surfaces, and the spokes, by means of which the disk of the sprayer is fixed to the body, are shaped in a straight or curved shape.
EFFECT: use of a nebulizer of the described construction makes it possible to obtain a uniform flow of fine droplet droplets in the range of droplet diameters from 30 to 150 mcm at a water supply pressure of not more than 1 MPa.
