FIELD: energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering and can be used for neutralization of solid domestic waste (MSW) with further use of solid combustion products and released thermal energy. Plant is proposed in which thermal processing of solid waste is produced by flame of three-phase electric arc. In this case, three electrodes located along periphery of block of cylindrical shape are connected to three phases of power source, and fourth (central) electrode located on block axis, is connected to zero wire of power source and having length one diameter greater than length of remaining electrodes, afterburner using spark plugs is used to neutralize exhaust gases.

EFFECT: increase in efficiency of MSW processing with exception of emission of harmful substances into atmosphere.
