METHOD AND SYSTEM OF DIRECTIONAL DRILLING USING CONTOURS OF MULTIPLE FEEDBACK Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E21B47/02 E21B47/12

Abstract RU 2669414 C1

FIELD: drilling of soil or rock.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the drilling of wells for the production of hydrocarbons. In particular, a directional drilling system is proposed, comprising: a bottom hole assembly, having a drill bit and a deflecting tool configured to adaptively control the direction of drilling; the first feedback loop, device configured to provide a first control signal for the deflecting tool; second feedback loop configured to provide a second control signal for the deflecting tool; and a set of sensors for measuring while drilling at least one of: deformation and movement at one or more points along the bottom hole assembly, wherein the first and second control signals are based in part on deformation or displacement measurements. Second feedback loop comprises a logic circuit configured to estimate the position of the bit and at least one of: weight on bit and frustration of weight on bit, based in part on deformation and displacement measurements. In this case, the second feedback loop contains a logic circuit, it is performed with the possibility of estimating the compensation of frustration of weight on bit, based on the evaluation of the weight on bit or frustration of weight on bit.

EFFECT: technical result is the expanded arsenal of technical means for directional drilling of wells.
