VISUALIZATION OF BOREHOLE PATH AND DETERMINATION OF PLACES OF DISTANCE MEASUREMENTS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E21B47/22 E21B7/04 G01V3/38

Abstract RU 2633841 C1

FIELD: mining engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system contains a processor, a memorising device and a module of well distance measuring. The module of well distance measuring is made for receiving inclinometer information in response to signal of inclinometer measurements and determination of location in the formation of a first borehole. The module of well distance measuring is additionally configured to receive the well distance measuring information in response to the first well distance measuring signal and determination of the location of the second borehole in the formation, and also tolerances of location of a second borehole, related to determination of location in formation of the second borehole on the basis of the first well distance measuring information. The module of well distance measuring is configured for determination using the first borehole location, the location of the second borehole and tolerances of location of the second borehole, the next location for transmission of the second well distance measuring signal.

EFFECT: accurate and compressed visualization of corresponding locations and paths of a plurality of adjacent boreholes.
