SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway tampers. Tamper contains tampering units, lifting and straightening device with lifting rollers and lifting hooks. Lifting and straightening device is installed in front of the tampering units. Lifting rollers and lifting hooks are installed on the common console with the possibility of moving across the longitudinal axis L of the tamper. Lifting elements of the rail-and-tilt grate are equipped with vertical and transverse displacement sensors.
EFFECT: reliable restraint of the rail grille is ensured when tampering switches and facilitating the control of the machine.
