FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for automatic docking of spacecrafts (SC). Device for automatic docking of SC in operations of orbital service contains a pin on the service SC and a conical socket on the attended SC. In the center of the conical socket there is a movable rod, on the outer end of which there is a radiation source. Radiation receivers are located on the service SC symmetrically and at the same distance from the longitudinal axis of the rod. Mutual position of the space vehicle is controlled by the indications of the radiation receivers located on the service SC.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the reliability of automatic docking of SC during orbital service operations.
