FIELD: space.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling movement of spacecraft (SC) and can be used, in particular, for docking an active spacecraft with a passive spacecraft. Method involves control over angular velocities of the active SC by observation data from it of the passive SC. Herewith observed is a triangle, the vertices of which are images of three reflecting elements installed on the passive SC at maximum distance from its center of gravity. Control is performed till the active SC registers a stable fixed figure of the triangle.
EFFECT: technical result is synchronizing angular velocities of the spacecraft by relatively simple means.
