FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cutting tool for processing the fiber-reinforced materials. Cutting tool comprises a certain amount of chip flutes, which in the circumferential direction provide for a gap between the transverse edges, which are located around the central segment of the cylinder. At least one lateral edge is made in the form of a rough transverse edge and at least one transverse edge is made in the form of a finishing transverse edge. Each of these edges has a peripheral working area that is disposed along or over a spiral around the axis of the cutting tool. Working area of each rough edge is made in the form of a peripheral file containing a large number of teeth, which are embedded into the outer surface of the working area in the form of a cylinder, and in the working area of each finishing transverse edge there is provided a certain amount of blades, which are arranged parallel or spirally around the axis of the blade tool. Number of blades on at least one finishing transverse edge includes numerous blades on the respective peripheral surface groove, which are located in parallel to each other and with a certain pitch relative to the chip flute in front of at least one finishing transverse edge.
