FIELD: cable technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable technology, namely to the construction of power cables with plastic insulation and sheath intended for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary electrical installations at alternating voltage up to 1,000 V with frequency up to 100 Hz. Current-carrying wires 1 are made of aluminum alloy wires comprising the following components, mass. %: aluminum up to 99 %, iron 0.3–1.0 %, zinc up to 0.1 %, silicon to 0.15 %, gallium to 0.03 %, copper to 0.3 %, magnesium to 0.05 %.
EFFECT: improved operational and installation characteristics of the cable.
