FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology, pharmaceutics and medicine, namely to photosensitizers for photodynamic inactivation of bacteria. Synthetic cationic bacteriochlorins of general formula:
, where R=CH2CH2Br, or C7H15, or CH2CH2N+C5H5Br-, as photosensitizers for photodynamic inactivation of bacteria, including in biofilms.
EFFECT: proposed photosensitizers have a high efficiency of photodynamic inactivation of bacteria.
