SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the recycling of metal pipes from exhausted. Device for retrieving pipe elements from exhaust pipelines comprises a housing with a front stage with an outer diameter of D₂, equipped with a node for fixing the exhaust cable, an adapter and a rear stage with a D₃ internal diameter and D₁ outside diameter and a device for cutting a spent pipeline with D outer diameter mounted on the front stage and adapter. Device also comprises a centralizer for centering the front stage with respect to the inner surface of the cut pipe. Cutter is made in the form of at least two cutters with sharpened blades, inclined towards the working movement of the device, cutting the pipe into at least two separate parts to ensure that they are pulled to the surface. In this case, the D outer diameter of the spent pipeline, D₂ outer diameter of front stage of housing and D₁ outer and D₃ internal diameters of the rear stage of the body are related by the relation: D > D₁ > D₃ > D₂.

EFFECT: as a result, the reliability of the device is improved and the possibility of replacing an underground pipeline without digging a trench from the surface.
