SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to dentifrices and a method for use thereof. Dentifrice is provided, comprising: a zinc-amino acid complex, which is a zinc-amino acid-halide complex, where the amino acid is lysine or arginine; one or more soluble phosphates and dentifrice base, and the dentifrice contains water in an amount of 8-17% by weight of the composition. Also disclosed is a method of treating or reducing the erosion of tooth enamel, cleaning teeth, reducing the biofilm and plaque formed by bacteria, reducing gingivitis, slowing down caries and cavities and / or reducing tooth hypersensitivity, including the application of said dentifrice to the teeth.
EFFECT: use of phosphate in the composition with low water content ensures the safety of the zinc-amino acid complex, which leads to an increase in antibacterial efficacy.
