FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biochemistry. Proposed is a nanoparticle for cell transfection, as well as a method for modifying intracellular polynucleotides. Said nanoparticle includes a polyplex core and a silicon dioxide coating on it, wherein the core of the polyplex contains one or more anionic polymers, one or more cationic polymers, a histone terminal peptide, a cationic polypeptide, and a polynucleotide. This method for modifying intracellular polynucleotides involves the contact of a cell with a nanoparticle.
EFFECT: inventions provide for the production of nanoparticles with improved stability, directed delivery to specific cell types, greater nuclear specificity, and compartment-specific unpacking, improved ability to maintain a significant load level in the initial stages of internalization and the ability to support load release after internalization.
