Method for estimating a level of unsafe driving of a vehicle in a stream, comprising: interrogating vehicles from a stationary source periodically generated by a data request signal. Receiving a signal on vehicles by recording instruments that transmit response messages, determined as a result of measurements and calculations, to a stationary source. Based on the collected information from the vehicles, calculating the average value of the intensity of control actions over the time period for a given controlled section of the road and the level of exceeding the intensity of the control actions of a particular vehicle over the average level of traffic flow intensity for a given section at a given time, which determines the level of unsafe driving of that particular driver.

EFFECT: provides timely and accurate definition of unsafe driving.
