FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling vehicle speed. Vehicle speed control method consists in the fact that to limit the vehicle movement speed when exceeding the allowable value in certain sections of roads, determining the vehicle speed on these sections of roads, signal is transmitted via wireless communication line to vehicle transceiver, from which signal is transmitted via electric wires to on-board information-control system and vehicle speed is limited to set values. To limit the speed of vehicle movement when it exceeds the permissible value, a control unit is used, which is connected by means of electric wires to installed on certain sections of roads transceivers, which are placed on towers.

EFFECT: reduced accident rate at certain sections of roads.
