FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: usage: to determine the flow rate of a multiphase medium flowing through a measuring tube. Summary of the invention is that the flowmeter has a measuring device that realizes the tomographic measurement principle and a second measuring device. At least one of the measuring devices realizes the measurement principle based on the nuclear spin resonance. In the present embodiment, the second measuring device is realized by means of a magnetic resonance imager. First measuring device is realized differently, namely, by means of a measuring device realized on the pre-magnetization contrast measuring principle. Magnetic field has at least one component, perpendicular to the flow direction of the medium, and is created by means of magnetic field generation elements that are arranged around the measuring tube. In addition, measuring device includes a structural unit for the excitation of nuclear spins due to the RF excitation pulse or a sequence of RF excitation pulses.
EFFECT: technical result: ensuring the possibility of reliable determination of the phase composition of a multiphase medium.
