SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to psychiatry. Determine the inhibition index of the induced auditory potential P50 in conditions of pair presentation of stimuli; parameter of the basic latent period of the acoustic start reaction (ACP), as well as the parameters of its pre-stimulation (PST) from the right and left eyes; amplitude of the induced auditory potential P300 in the odd-ball paradigm; the indicator of the number of erroneous reactions and the variability of the latent period of the correct reactions in the test with antisakkads. Estimate the obtained values in points as follows: indicator relates to the 95 % confidence interval of the norm group – 0 points, to the 95 % – 99 % interval – 1 point, deviation of the indicator beyond the limits of 99 % of the confidence interval, but not more than three standard deviations from the norm group – 2 points, deviation from the average value of the norm group by more than three standard deviations – 3 points. Two-stage analysis is carried out using a scoring of the received data. At the first stage, the presence of mental disorders is detected using predictors as indicators: inhibition of the evoked auditory potential P50, number of erroneous reactions in the test with antisaccadic, the variability of the latent period of the correct antisaccades and the amplitude of the evoked auditory potential P300. With a score of more than 3 diagnose a mental disorder of personality. At the second stage, differential diagnosis of schizophrenia from personality disorder is carried out. For this purpose, the following indicators are used as predicates: inhibition of the induced auditory potential P50, the basic latent period of ACP, PST ACS from the right and left eye, with a total of more than 2 diagnose schizophrenia.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the reliability of diagnostics, which is achieved due to the analyzed parameters and the two-stage differential diagnosis.
