SUBSTANCE: by means of the motor technique of E. P. Ilyin, the expression of the "external" balance of the processes of excitation and inhibition is determined in an individual. Then, by their magnitude, if the predominance of inhibition processes over the processes of excitation is revealed, by the sum of all the shortcomings relatively to the selected standards on short and long segments, taking into account age, his/her predisposition to psychotic disorders of the schizophrenic spectrum is established, in accordance with the specified criteria.

EFFECT: method allows providing individual approach to the appointment of antipsychotic drugs, increasing accuracy and objectivity of evaluating the effectiveness of treatment at the early stages of therapy and predicting the timing of relief of psychopathological symptoms in patients with schizophrenia, which will contribute to a timely change in the tactics of treatment of patients with an established diagnosis.
