FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to an ozone generator with high-voltage electrode (5) and at least one counter electrode (1), a flat-shaped wire article and a high voltage electrode arrangement. Ozone generator with high voltage electrode (5) and at least one counterelectrode (1) defining a space between them in which at least dielectric (2) is mounted and through which gas flows in the direction of the straightened flow. High-voltage electrode (5) and at least one counter-electrode (1) have power supply connection (7) for producing quiet discharges. In the gas flow a flat piece of wire is installed, the density of which decreases in the direction of the straightened flow.
EFFECT: technical result achieved with the use of a group of inventions consists in creating an ozone generator with increased capacity by reducing the electric power supplied in the direction of the gas flow per unit surface of the electrode.
