FIELD: industrial electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing ozone at high pressure with output of not less than 1 kg of ozone per hour by means of an ozone generator. Ozone generator comprises high-voltage electrode (5) and at least one counter electrode (1). High-voltage (5) and at least one counter-electrode (1) form a gap in which there is at least one dielectric and through which oxygen-containing gas is passed under pressure pgas. High-voltage electrode (5) and at least one counter electrode (1) are connected to power supply (7, 8) to generate discharges in at least one discharge gap. Power supply (7, 8) provides high voltage in range from 1 to 50 kV. Size of breakdown gaps di discharge has distribution between minimum dmin and maximum dmax size of breakdown gaps, and pressure pgas of an oxygen-containing gas at the ozone generator output is not less than 3 bar.
EFFECT: obtaining ozone with high concentration and capacity at high pressure.
