SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a conversion technique and can be used to charge and discharge battery cells with the discharge energy recovery to an AC power supply network. Operation of the rectifier in charge mode AB. Supply voltage A, B, C through protective switching equipment (1) goes to the primary winding of power transformer (2), and from its secondary winding voltage is applied to input of thyristor bridges (3) and (8). From the output of the cathodic group of thyristor bridge (3), current flows through fuse (6), diode of IGBT module (13), AB, smoothing reactor (7) to the output of the anode group of thyristor bridge (3). ACS unit (5) controls the operation of the rectifier by forming the control pulses of the rectifier bridge thyristors (3) to provide the specified parameters of the charging mode of the battery.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the reliability of the charge-discharge rectifier, to eliminate the failure of the power elements of the rectifier and do not interrupt the process of discharging the battery with the recovery of discharge energy into the supply network during short-term power supply voltage failures.
