FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: station is intended for automatic charging and aging the storage batteries (SB) and is built around high-frequency converters with galvanic isolation. The said station features higher functional performances and has its charging section connected in a bridge or a semi-bridge circuit with a high-frequency transformer, while the discharging section is built around a step-up PWM-converter with recuperation of power into a capacitor element. The station is supplied from a one- or three-phase variable voltage circuit or a constant voltage circuit. An operator presets the station operating conditions, i.e. charging the SB, discharging or aging it to a required capacity, changing the SB type, charging current type, selecting the charging current, discharging current, charging time in SV ageing, final capacity of SB in ageing. The data on these operations is displayed on LCD indicator.
