FIELD: casting.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a polyolefin composition suitable for die-casting to reduce the amount of flow lines in a cast workpiece, wherein the polyolefin composition comprises polyolefin and a heterophase polyolefin composition (HECO1) and, if necessary, a filler, the invention is also aimed at applying a heterophase polyolefin composition for reducing the amount of flow lines in the polyolefin composition and an article produced from such composition. The polyolefin composition (C) for producing cast articles includes, relative to the total weight of the polypropylene composition (C), % wt.: polyolefin (PO) from 60.0 to 80.0, a heterophase polypropylene composition (HECO1) from 8.0 to 20.0, an inorganic filler (F) if necessary. The heterophase polyolefin composition (HECO1), relative to the total weight of the heterophase polypropylene composition (HECO1), consists of, % wt.: a matrix (M) from 40.0 to 80.0, wherein the matrix (M) comprises a first propylene polymer (PP1) and a second propylene polymer (PP2), wherein the matrix (M) comprises the first propylene polymer (PP1) and the second propylene polymer (PP2) in a weight ratio of 99:1 to 80:20, and an elastomeric propylene copolymer (EPR), constituting a copolymer of propylene and ethylene and/or C4-C8 α-olefin, dispersed in the matrix (M), from 15.0 to 55.0, and additives up to 5.0, wherein the ratio of MFI(PP1)/MFI(PP2) ratio is from 10,000 to 100,000. Or the heterophase polyolefin composition (HECO1) relative to the total weight of the heterophase polypropylene composition (HECO1) consists of, % wt.: a matrix (M) from 40.0 to 80.0, wherein the matrix (M) comprises a first propylene polymer (PP1) and a second propylene polymer (PP2), wherein the second propylene polymer (PP2) has a certain value at 230°C under a load of 2.16 kg according to ISO 1133 of the melt flow index MFI of less than or equal to 0.05 g/10 min, wherein the matrix (M) comprises the first propylene polymer (PP1) and the second propylene polymer (PP2) in a weight ratio of 99:1 to 80:20, and an elastomeric propylene copolymer (EPR), constituting a copolymer of propylene and ethylene and/or C4-C8 α-olefin, dispersed in the matrix (M), from 15.0 to 55.0, and additives up to 5.0, wherein the ratio of MFI(PP1)/MFI(PP2) is from 61 to 100,000.

EFFECT: provided is polyolefin composition reducing the amount of flow lines for die-cast parts produced from the polyolefin composition.
