FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium having the ability to produce L-arginine, with enhanced activity of arginine operon and ornithine-carbamoyl transferase. Method for producing L-arginine using this microorganism is provided.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows a maximum of 50 % increase in the production of L-arginine by the said modified microorganism in comparison with the control unmodified microorganism.
