SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to animal adaptation agents. Described is a semiochemical composition comprising (wt%/wt%) methyl laurate 1–8, methyl myristate 1–8, methyl palmitate 10–18, methyl linoleate 3–10, methyl oleate 40–55, methyl stearate 1–8, dimethyl pimelate 5–15, dimethyl azelate 4–15, their salts, their derivatives, isomers and/or their structural analogues, which provide their semiochemical properties.
EFFECT: methods of reducing social conflicts in multi-cat households or in catteries or kennels boarding cats are also disclosed, as well as methods for inducing social facilitation in cats using the semiochemical composition.
