SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the veterinary industry and provides a composition and spot-on formulation, comprising from 15 % to 25 % wt. %/wt. % methyl palmitate, from 10 % to 27 % wt. %/wt. % methyl linoleate, from 25 % to 35 % wt. %/wt. % methyl oleate, from 5 % to 15 % wt. %/wt. % methyl stearate, from 5 % to 15 % wt. %/wt. % methyl laurate and from 5 % to 15 % wt. %/wt. % methyl myristate, and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which provide an appeasing pheromone effect and/or social facilitation effect. Also, the inventions include methods for treating facilitation, stress, anxiety and aggression in a cat, comprising administering to the cat a composition or spot-on formulation as described above.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a composition containing a cat appeasing pheromone.
