FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway automatics and telemechanics for controlling the track sections of two-frequency rail circuits. In the method, a tone signal is applied to the rail line and the current signal value is compared with a threshold value, the results of the comparison determine the state of the track section, the threshold value is determined based on the current signal values, different rails are fed into the rail lines in adjacent survey cycles to monitor the integrity of the rails and the freedom of the track section, the integrity of the rail threads is determined at the frequency of the signal current fk from the input resistance of the beginning of the rail circuit with power from the middle.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of control over track sections is achieved.
