FIELD: transport traffic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway automatics and telemechanics for controlling the track sections of two-frequency rail circuits. In the method, a tone signal is applied to the track line, and the current signal value is compared with the threshold values, the results of the comparison determine the states of the track section, the threshold values are determined based on current signal values, different frequencies are fed to the rail lines in adjacent survey cycles to monitor the integrity of the rails and the freedom of the track section, with serviceable and free forward lying lines to the locomotive, a signal is transmitted over the digital radio channel allowing the movement at a speed corresponding to the number of free sections.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of control over track sections is achieved.
