SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed to increase the accuracy of the reproduction of the sound signal, subject to a reduction in computational costs. To achieve this the phase of the processed discrete value is based on the respective phases of the respective input discrete values in each of the Y-frames of input discrete values; the amplitude of the processed sample is determined as the average value of the amplitude of the corresponding input sample in the first frame of the Y-frames of input samples and the amplitude of the corresponding input sample in the second frame of the Y-frames of input samples; and generating a time-stretched and/or frequency-converted signal from the synthesis sub-band signal.
EFFECT: increase the accuracy of the reproduction of the sound signal, subject to a reduction in computational costs.
