FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic equipment. Installation includes gas drying and cleaning units, heat exchangers, an expander, a compressor, a reducing device and a separator. In the first embodiment, high-pressure natural gas is dried and separated into production gas and process gas, which is cooled in a preliminary heat exchanger, reduced, heated in a heat exchanger "purified compressed production gas/reduced process gas" and mixed with the return gas supplied from the separator after heating in the main heat exchanger. Low pressure gas is removed to the consumer after heating in the pre-heat exchanger and heat exchanger "compressed production gas/low pressure gas". Production gas is compressed, cooled in the heat exchanger "compressed production gas/low pressure gas", cleaned of heavy impurities in the cleaning unit, cooled in the heat exchanger "purified compressed production gas/reduced process gas" and the main heat exchanger, reduced and divided into reverse gas and liquefied natural gas. In the second variant, the dried high-pressure gas is first cooled with low-pressure gas, and then separated into process and production gas.
EFFECT: increased yield of liquefied natural gas.
