FIELD: hydraulic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, in particular to closed spillways, and can be used to eliminate deep pools and other water bodies, arising after heavy rains or melting of snow, that is, for draining a flooded city, as a replacement-alternative and working in parallel with the already established “City Storm Sewerage” that cannot cope with its functions. Emergency storm sewers include additional lines of vacuum spillways that are identical in design to the main vacuum spillway, spillways with a higher location “above sea level” A.S.L. have a smaller cross-section of pipelines than the second row, and each subsequent row has a relatively larger cross-section of pipelines, but in general, the cross section of the lower large pipeline is equal to the sum of the cross sections of all the upper pipelines connected to it, the pipelines of vacuum spillways are installed inside the already existing tunnels of storm sewers and are rigidly fixed to the walls of the tunnel of storm sewers with anchors. Principle of the vacuum spillway is used to transfer water without energy, containing the main pipe with inlet and outlet heads, while the water intake is located in a pond created by rain, which the “Emergency Storm Sewerage” cannot cope with, and the water outlet is located outside the city, in a section capable of receiving stormwater, for example, sent to the river bed or to the sea. Unlike “City Storm Sewerage”, “Emergency Storm Sewerage” is guaranteed to drain urban puddles and it can rarely have congestion, since it is vacuum and the flow rate is up to 5 meters per second. Way to eliminate stormwater flooding includes: creation of a control center, where the main operator issues commands for working with the primary and secondary vacuum spillways and coordinates the actions of the operators of the secondary sections; attaching to each section of the operator (-s) equipped with communication means, for example, a walkie-talkie, filling the spillway system with water, first the upper section, then the operator is sent to the operator (operators) of the lower sections to open the stop valves, whereupon the water fills the lower portions of the spillways and enters the lower main line of the conduit, which goes into the river bed or outside the city, in places able to take pumped volumes of water and produces stormwater. Unlike the Emergency Situations Ministry fire engines, which pump out water from huge urban pools, the Emergency Storm Sewerage does this work much faster, without attracting the park of equipment and without energy, or with minimal energy.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is: controlled transfer of huge masses of water from the inner regions of the city to the river beds outside the city or into the sea (for example, in the cities of the Black Sea coast); actual performance of the “Storm Sewerage” without capital reorganization of the already existing system and financial savings; creation-maintenance of comfortable conditions of urban life.
