FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: water main contains a main pipe with inlet and outlet portals. The water intake is located in the water reservoir, i.e. in the upper pool, and is submerged in water to a depth exceeding the maximum depth of the reservoir freezing. The water discharge is located in the lower pool. The main pipe is designed to be filled with water. The inlet and outlet portals are provided with a stop valve. The pipeline is rigidly fixed to the ground along the entire length. The pipeline is provided with additional stop valves along the entire length with air valves installed according to the scheme, where the distance between the water intake and the first stop valve is much less than between the first additional stop valve and the second additional stop valve. Between the second additional stop valve and the third additional stop valve, the distance is much less than between the third and fourth and so on to the water discharge. On the water discharge there is a computer room with a power unit or power units which generate electricity from the water kinetic energy of this water disposal. The way of water conduit startup consists in the fact that at first the area between the water intake and the first additional water stop valve is filled with water. The air valves of the first section of the water conduit are open, the first additional water stop valve is closed. After filling this section of the water conduit, the air valves are closed in sequence from the lower valve to the sea level and then sequentially to the upper valve relative to the sea level as the water conduit is filled with water. Further, the second additional water stop valve is opened. The air valves of the second section of the water conduit are open, the third additional water stop valve is closed. After filling this section of the water conduit, the air valves are closed in sequence from the lower valve to the sea level and then sequentially to the upper valve relative to the sea level as this section of the water conduit is filled with water. Then, the next - third stop valve and air valves of the third additional stop valve are opened, and the above mentioned process is repeated in the following sections and so on until the whole pipeline is filled with water, after which the lowest stop valve opens and the water main is actuated, during which from the bottom of the water conduit, the earth's gravity force will pull a column of water, which in turn will create a continuous watercourse along the entire main pipeline.
EFFECT: possibility to pump huge amounts of water through elevations and over great distances without spending energy carriers.
