FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the detection device (35), which allows to identify reset of the electric switch (10). Electric switch (10) comprises fixed (12) and movable (14) contacts; the movable contact (14) being movable between an open position in which the stationary and movable contacts (12, 14) are disconnected, and a closed position in which the movable contact (14) abuts against the stationary contact (12), the contact release mechanism (16), (12, 14), a shaft (18) for resetting the mechanism (16) from the open position to the closed position of the movable contact (14), and the drive (20) of the disengaging mechanism (16); the drive (20) comprising an electromagnetic coil and a movable core moving between an inoperative position and an operating position in which the disengagement mechanism (16) is actuated; wherein the coil being configured to cause the movable core to move from its non-operating position to its operating position. Detection device (35) comprises means for generating a return indication signal based on an electric pulse, wherein the electric pulse corresponds to an electric current induced in the coil by moving the movable core from its operating position to its inoperative position during return to the rest position of the switch.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of returning the circuit breaker to the home position while simplifying the implementation of the detection device (without the use of a position sensor) is a technical result of the invention.
