FIELD: furnaces.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sealing device of the broaching furnace for drawing fiberglass. Device comprises the furnace (1) for drawing out glass fiber containing the central vertical opening (3), around which the placed heating elements (4) are placed, which are designed to accommodate the blank (2) for the production of fiberglass containing the tapered section (7), which is connected to the extension rod (8). On the upper surface of the furnace (1) the seal (5) with the opening, which is designed to seal the internal volume of the furnace (1) relative to the environment, is placed. Device comprises the external cylindrical sleeve (16), which is located on the upper surface of the furnace (1) and the internal cylindrical sleeve (17) having the first (18) and opposite second vertical end (19). Inner cylindrical sleeve (17) is installed with the possibility of covering at least part of the tapered section (7) with the first end (18) located in the zone of the beginning of the specified tapered section (7), and the second end (19) contains the protruding elements (22) on the outer surface. When the inner sleeve (17) is placed in the outer sleeve (16), the inner sleeve (17) is not fixed inside the outer sleeve (16), and these protruding elements (22) form supports to hold the second end of the inner sleeve (19) above the vertical central opening (3). Seal (5) contains the support surface for the protruding elements (22), and the distance h1 between the support surface and the heating element is greater than the height of the inner sleeve h2.

EFFECT: exclusion of the entry of seal elements into the furnace and their connection with the glass fiber blank, as well as the reduction of leakage of inert gases from the furnace during the supply of the blank into it.
