FIELD: means of communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems to determine a modulation and coding scheme. Method includes: determining the number K of terminal devices, which reuse a first time-frequency resource in the first time period in order to receive downlink data from a network device, where K ≥ 2 (S210); acquiring a channel quality indicator (CQI), wherein the CQI is determined according to the signal-interference-noise ratio (SINR) of the channel and the number K of terminal devices, wherein the channel is a channel based on the first time-frequency resource, and the channel is used to transmit the downlink data between the first terminal device and the network device in first time period (S220); and determining a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the first terminal device according to the CQI.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of noise-immunity of transmission channels.
