SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar meteorology and can be used to provide meteorological information for aircraft. Form meteorological information on the entire route of the flight, including the take-off and landing sites of aircraft, according to the networks of ground-based weather radars lightning finders and lightning recorders, measuring the electric field strength at the surface of the Earth and other remote sources of meteorological information. Received meteorological information is combined into a single unit. With the help of ground-based instrumentation for collecting and processing, a complete set of data from the entire monitored airspace is processed. In the form of generated files on request from an aircraft in automatic mode via communication channels, meteorological information is transmitted to the input of the onboard modem connected to the onboard processor, in which it is further processed. Based on the data of the receiver, the positioning of the board calculates the speed, direction of flight and the location of the aircraft in real time. In accordance with the algorithm chosen by the pilot, at the same time, for different flight altitudes on the on-board indicator, the weather conditions are displayed as horizontal, circular and vertical sections of radio echo clouds in selected directions with indication of dangerous meteorological phenomena from their processing data and meteorological information recorded by networks of remote sources in real coordinates relative to the location of the aircraft itself.

EFFECT: improving the safety of aircraft flight by increasing the information content, reliability, visibility of the display of weather radar and other meteorological data.
