FIELD: machine building; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering for mining and construction industries, in particular to a self-aligning cutter with a fastening device on the machine's executive body. Self-aligning cutter with the fastening device on the machine's executive body includes a rotary cutter consisting of a cylindrical shank with a circular groove and a head part with anterior cutting edge. Front cutting edge is offset relative to the axis of the cylindrical shank by a value of some positive eccentricity. Cutter is installed in the toolholder rigidly fixed on the executive body of the mining machine through a bearing bush and fixed by the circular groove of the shank by a spring check, which is installed in the grooves of the tool holder over the inter-septum partition. During operation, the cutter is rotated by a certain angle under the action of external forces and self-aligned along the cutting line.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the energy intensity of rock destruction with simplification of the device design, in increasing reliability and efficiency.
