FIELD: poultry processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the poultry processing industry, namely, a method and a processing line for testing a bird carcass and/or a group of giblets extracted from a bird carcass. Poultry carcass and/or the giblets group are suspended to the bird holder and the giblet holder, which are moved in the processing line, the inspector conducting a check who selects a particular bird carcass and/or a group of giblets that should be discarded. At least one of the poultry holder and the giblet holder is provided with a selection device that is moved together with a suitable bird holder and/or giblet holder in the processing line. Controller controls the selection device for direct and unambiguous selection of poultry and / or group of giblets suspended on the holder, which must be discarded.
EFFECT: provides an accurate and reliable selection of groups of giblets and/or bird carcasses, which must be removed from the processing line.
