FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. This method for production of L-methionine by fermenting a microorganism of the Enterobacteriaceae family, in which the proP gene is attenuated in such a way that the activity or concentration of this protein is reduced by a value of 0 to 75 % of the activity or concentration of the corresponding protein in the non-recombinant microorganism. Proposed is a microorganism of the Enterobacteriaceae family, which carries the proP gene attenuated in the above manner. Proposed is a polynucleotide for carrying out the aforementioned method for producing L-methionine. Proposed is a vector for the preparation of L-methionine containing the above polynucleotide. Proposed is a recombinant Enterobacteriaceae microorganism for the production of L-methionine carrying the above polynucleotide and/or vector.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to increase production of L-methionine in comparison with the parent strain.
