FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, and in particular to methods for producing heat-resistant nickel-based alloy HN62BMKTYU using substandard waste. Method of obtaining heat-resistant nickel superalloy HN62BMKTYU includes preparation of charge materials containing primary charge, conditioned and substandard wastes, purification of substandard wastes from technical and mechanical impurities, and vacuum arc melting of the charge. After cleaning from technical and mechanical impurities, reductive smelting of substandard waste in a DC arc furnace with a melt purge with oxygen ensuring the carbon content of 0.02÷0.05 % and silicon 0.09÷0.12 % is carried out and with the subsequent separation of slag. Addition of conditioned waste of its own production is carried out in resulting melt and adjustment of chemical composition of melt by introduction of molybdenum, nickel, chromium, cobalt and niobium to obtain electrode of passport charge refined billet (PSHRZ). Thereupon refining vacuum arc remelting of the PSHRZ electrode is conducted at a temperature of 1,600÷1,800 °C and discharge 1⋅10-2÷10-3 mmHg with obtaining ingot PSHRZ in the form of secondary activated waste. Obtained PSHRZ ingot is added together with conditioned waste to the primary charge with their ratio: primary charge – 20÷30 %, conditional waste – 10÷30 %, ingots PSHRZ – the rest and carry out the smelting alloy HN62BMKTYU. Clean on non-metallic and slag inclusions charge blanks are obtained.
EFFECT: method provides resource saving due to activation of substandard waste, including saving of expensive and scarce charge materials and the provision of chemical composition.
