FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, and in particular to methods for smelting nickel-based alloys with a high tungsten content (more than 14%), intended for the manufacture of parts used in aviation and other industries. Smelting method for KhN33KV alloy includes preparation of charge materials, filling formation, smelting of branded alloy, its subsequent oxygen blowing and refining. When preparing charge materials, preliminary smelting is carried out in an open induction furnace and casting into ingots of nickel-tungsten-chromium ligature with a tungsten content of 20-30 wt.% and chromium 20-25 wt.% using electrolytic nickel, metallic chromium and up to 30% of filling weight of tungsten chips. The smelted ligature in an amount of up to 50% of the charge weight is used for smelting a grade alloy in a vacuum induction furnace in the composition of charge materials in the form of cobalt, molybdenum, niobium, chromium, nickel and microadditives.
EFFECT: requirements for the chemical composition of the melted alloy are met, segregation of tungsten is excluded.
