SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to traumatology and orthopedics and can be used to fix the sternum after sternotomy and to treat fractures of the body and the sternum handle. During osteosynthesis of sternum fractures, the nature of the fracture, its localization, the degree of displacement of fragments are determined in advance. Skin incision is performed above the fracture projection, the soft tissues are moved apart and the bone fragments are repositioned. Plate 1 is modeled on the front surface of the sternum and conductor 5 is screwed into one of its mounting holes 4 with drilling depth limiter 6. Conduit is drilled along conductor 5 for inserting a pre-selected along the length jackpost 7 in bone fragment. Through installation hole 4 jackpost 7 is screwed in the bone fragments. Conductor 5 is screwed into the other mounting holes 4 and the channels are drilled in other bone fragments. Jackposts 7 which are pre-selected along the length are screwed through mounting holes 4 and the wound is sutured in layers tightly.

EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is to eliminate acute hypoxia, restore adequate breathing, stabilize the musculoskeletal skeleton of the chest and prevent respiratory complications.
