FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical instrumentation and relates to a method for detecting inoperative photodiodes with increased interconnection in a matrix photodetector device (MPDD) of the IR spectral range. Method includes the illumination of the MPDD from a standard emitter in the form of a point or extended act and measuring the output signals of the MPDD at three levels of constant uniform illumination F1, F2 and F3 (F1<F2<F3). Calculate the two-point correction coefficients FSij and Kij based on output signals from the illumination F1 and F3, apply them to the illumination signals F2 and get the corrected signals from the illumination of F2: Uijcorr(F2)=(Uij(F2)-FSij)∙Kij. Photodiode is recognized as a photodiode with increased coupling if the condition is satisfied: |Uijcorr(F2)-Uijmed(F2)|>Udmax where Uijmed(F2) – the median value of the signal from the corrected illumination F2 in area 5×5 elements with center in (i, j), Udmax – criterion determined for each type of MPDD individually.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of detecting defective photodiodes with an increased interconnection in an MPDD.
