FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication networks. In the method and device, an unlicensed spectrum is used for Long Term Evolution (LTE) communication. Method includes synchronizing the clear channel assessment (CCA) slots among a plurality of base stations to determine the availability of an unlicensed spectrum for transmissions in the next transmission interval, wherein the first CCA slot from the CCA slots is matched to the first OFDM symbol position from the plurality of locations of the OFDM symbols, and the second CCA slot from the CCA slots is matched to the second OFDM symbol position from the positions of the OFDM symbols.
EFFECT: reduce network congestion by using unlicensed spectrum.
