SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Lattice element (10) for the grate, in which the successive grid elements are arranged one above the other in the form of steps of a ladder and are designed in such a way that by means of the shift motions performed relative to each other, the combustion material is redistributed and supplied during combustion, wherein lattice element (10) includes molded body (12) of a lattice element that includes upper wall (14), which forms supporting surface (16), which is at least partially parallel to the longitudinal axis L of the grill body, along which the material for combustion is to be fed, and a front view if viewed in the shifting direction S, the end of which forms edge (19) through which supporting surface (16) falls into shear surface (22) formed by front wall (20), front wall (20) has at least one opening (38) of the air inlet for supplying air to the grate at a right angle or inclined to shear surface (22) when viewed in longitudinal section and is made in its lowest region (32) in the form of leg (34), which is designed to rest on the bearing surface of the adjacent lattice element in the S direction, at least front supporting edge (23) of shear surface (22) is located at a substantially right angle to the longitudinal axis L of the plane E, edge (19), when viewed along the longitudinal axis L and in the shifting direction S, is offset forward relative to the plane E.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the service life of the grate element and to provide control over the degree of its attrition.
