FIELD: cutting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cutting cardboard sleeves and can be used for the manufacture of rolls of paper. Machine for cutting cardboard sleeves contains a cutting assembly with a carriage with the knife mounted thereon, and a supporting member for supporting a carton designed for cross-cutting with a knife. Supporting element allows the sleeve to slide along a predetermined direction parallel to its longitudinal axis and rotate around this axis. Carriage is made with the ability to move the knife in two directions parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve. Supporting element is installed at the location of the cutting unit and is made with a part moved from the knife and back.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design, improving reliability, efficiency and reducing the frequency of maintenance of the device.
