FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing with pressure shaping curved tubular article with a part elongated in one direction. Method includes a first process in which a flat plate is prepared to produce an elongated intermediate article having a cross section in a first direction that is hollow and elongated in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. And the second process, on which the intermediate product prepared in the first process is bent in a direction intersecting the second direction, when viewed in a first direction, by treating the intermediate article with pressure along the second direction to produce a curved, pressure shaped tubular article.
EFFECT: as a result, a defect, such as a dent, is eliminated in the formation of the bent portion.
